Moving On

Reality Bites wishes founding member and bassist/vocalist Scott Warren a fond farewell. Scott relocates to North Carolina with his wife Susan and will be pursuing new musical efforts, along with his counseling and psychotherapy practice. We would like to thank Scott for his contribution, friendship and stellar musicianship over the years, even back to our former organization (darn it, that band name STILL escapes us!). We wish Scott and Susan all the best in their new life on the East Coast.

Joining the fold will be bassist/vocalist David DeShazo, who also puts in time with The Spread and The Project around the DFW area. And on some gigs that David can't be with us, we welcome James Driscoll on bass, who also plays with Shibboleth, Chomsky and is an old friend of the band as well as Mr. DeShazo.

What's Going On?

Well, we are! Oh yeah, some live shows that we have booked. This year we've got quite a bit lined up. Some things even trickle in last minute. Check the calendar for complete information.

Why Are We Here?

Yes, just what Dallas needs: another cover band. Well, you say that, but we're constantly hit with boy bands, metal bands, emo, rappers, angry young punks, the female singer with-the-du-jour-secret-society-that-everyone-should-join. Somehow they're accepted like chocolate and puppies. So yes, Dallas needs us. Maybe it's because we play what we like. Maybe you'll like what we play. What we DON'T play is a lot of what others play. Rules can be bent.

What Do You Get Out Of It?

Maybe we'll make you dance. Maybe we'll make you sing along. Maybe you'll just sit at your little table, sip your whatever and nod your head. It's your choice. Maybe we'll meet again and again and you can pick up where you left off. Lather, rinse, repeat.
